Jay Kennedy has been a PGA Professional for over 28 years.
He grew up on the coast of North Carolina in Morehead City and graduated from Guliford College. During his time there, he was a two time All-American in golf and has since been inducted into the Guliford College Athletic Hall of Fame. Upon graduating, he worked for Harvie Ward at Grand Cypress Resort in the outside operations for 5 years. He joined the Interlachen team in January 1987 as the Assistant Golf Professional. He held this position until August 1992 when he was promoted to the Director of Golf.
Jay and his team offer both men's and ladies golf instruction, as well as golf events throughout the year. He enjoys teaching and enhancing our members' golf game, and is available for private lessons.
